How to Work Through Uncertainty
Are you living in a bubble of uncertainty?
It’s not uncommon in today’s times to find ourselves in a bubble of uncertainty. However, a bubble that is vibrating at the level of uncertainty that you feel will only lead to more uncertainty.
Uncertainty is often paired with fear, anxiety, panic, feeling out of control, or a loss of control. All of these emotions fog up the bubble so you can see less clearly what is really going on outside of your bubble.
When we are all fogged up there are only a few options we can turn to at this point. Allow the emotional fog to continue to block your vision of the truth and succumb to the uncertainty or clear the fog by allowing the emotions to assist you in popping this bubble.
When we choose the first option our fear of or discomfort in uncertainty will drive our decisions, actions, and beliefs.
This can result in fear of the unknown, needing to control your environment, perfectionism, or even a constant feeling of a lack of certainty that needs to be handled.
When we approach our bubble of uncertainty in this way we run from the real cause of the fog… why we are so afraid to feel uncertain.
That can come from a lack of trust and faith that all things that come onto your [ath are there for your highest good and teach you something so that you can live the best life you are meant to. It can also come from the mindset that things are happening to you and not for you.
ARE YOU IN A BUBBLE OF UNCERTAINTY?
If you are and you are wanting to understand how to pop your bubble for more clarity there are a few things you can do.
But before I share, I want to mention that I’ve also been experiencing a bubble of uncertainty that brings up fear, anxiety, and doubt for myself. I’m writing this so we can learn to pop that bubble together. So here is what I’ve learned so far about some small first steps…
- Get to the bottom of why you feel so uncertain: What is the uncertainty about? When does it come up?
- Is there a pattern in the thing you feel uncertain about?
- What is the underlying issue?
- How can you have more faith in the process?
These are some questions to begin asking yourself and your answers will lead you down different paths to take. You could just need a simple mindset reframing or it could be the start of a deep healing process.
No matter what emotional energy is vibrating in your bubble it can always be popped to reveal the truth and so you can gain more clairty about what is going on in your life.
The main thing to take away is that you don’t have to remain in your bubble. There are ways that you can come out of it and change the perspective you have on what you are uncertain about.
The first step is always awareness and recognition. And you’ve done that just by reading this article.
