How to Transform Into You

“Beautiful are those whose brokenness gives birth to transformation and wisdom” — John Mark Green

We are constantly transforming in our life. Our body, mind, and soul are constantly transforming from the experiences, knowledge, and lessons we go through. It is part of the process we all experience no matter who you are.

As we learn to evolve in a world that is constantly changing our inner selves learn to evolve with it.

However, we transform more than our external world. As the world around us changes, we must change on the inside in order to adapt to a new way of living.

This happens more often than you may think, transformations happen all the time. Some of these times we may be unaware of it or maybe you are aware but you may not see it as a positive transformation. Rather, it may seem like a battle that you can’t get past.

When you are fighting your external changes you are avoiding the transformation that must happen within in order to balance both worlds.

This will only hold you back in life and prohibit those positive transformations from taking place. This happens most often when people are fearful of what they must face in order to transform. The hardest part of transforming is being okay with the negative emotions it may bring up.

However, the reason these come up is so that you can face your fears, learn it is okay to be afraid, and heal from them. This is where the inner transformations really begin — with facing what you don’t want to face and letting it teach you a lesson.

Now you can also consciously transform yourself. This is when you decide to do the inner work to create a more positive, loving, and peaceful world within and around you.

These transformations also involve getting personal with your fears. Although, the difference here is that there is less of a fight to hide from them. Rather you may be more willing to come face to face with what makes you uncomfortable because the transformation is worth it to you.

Approaching the process of transforming into your best self, physically and spiritually, is best done when you are aware of it because the battle will be less hurtful. It will still be hard but you will be more willing to go with it.

Right now is the perfect time to begin these transformations of self. We are being given the time and the solidarity to take a step back and look deep within.

Being stuck inside, possibly being alone, and having nowhere to go is very frustrating. However, it can also be a gift if you decide to look at it as so. It can be a gift in the sense that you can get to know yourself and heal what you need to so that you can transform.

A possible way to start is just by becoming more aware of how you are feeling, what you are thinking, and what you need. You can also learn to become more mindful and present in your everyday life. Doing all of these things will help you learn more about yourself.

It may open old wounds or bring up unwanted emotions but that is part of the transformation process. It’s okay to get vulnerable.

Transformation of the self is not about protecting yourself it is about letting yourself see what you already know is true and letting that be okay.

Stepping into your true self takes courage and hiding it is hurtful.

Take the first step to transforming into who you really are and the world around you will begin to transform with you.
